Our Mission
At Zero Waste Analytics, we use data-driven methods to tackle the global issue of food waste, with a focus on everyday household consumption. Our goal is to turn abstract ideas about sustainability into clear, measurable insights that guide better decisions. By applying mathematical modeling and statistical analysis, we help individuals and organizations understand their impact and identify the most effective ways to reduce waste.
Who We Are
Peter L. Chan
Partner, 2023
As the director of Youth Incubator, Peter has had many years of experience working to help Youth make a positive impact. In the process of creating Zero Waste Initiative, Xiuwen found and reached out to Peter to form a partnership and learn from an experienced predecessor. Since then, Peter has provided vital mentorship and guidance to Xiuwen, allowing him to go beyond his own individual efforts to make a difference in the community around him.
An intellectually curious high school student attending Indian Springs School in Alabama, Xiuwen created ConsumeConserve in the fall of 2023 to support his plan of creating a mathematics-based application to help regulate household food waste. Since then, ConsumeConserve has been rebranded to Zero Waste Analytics, and expanded beyond our application to provide a wider array of models and information.
